Channel Account Manager Webroot Software
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED In this role you will be responsible for developing and driving Channel business using Webroot team members & corporate resources. This will require you to support MSP's, Distributors, VARS and regional tradeshow activity as appropriate and to cultivate and evolve partner relationships from a novice to a competent partner level. You manage all aspects of sales the cycle within your given territory, including your own prospecting as well as team assistance from your in-territory Territory Manager, Sales Engineer and Lead Development Representative. Working out of our corporate offices in Broomfield, CO, your primary mission will be to cultivate new and existing relationships with channel partners, value added resellers and end users on the east coast. Your proven ability to engage and influence prospective clients over the phone will enable you to set your weekly client meetings and networking events. Travel and face-time with your clients is the name of your game. You have an affinity for cutting edge technology either from your professional experience, or simply from keeping up with the current trends. As a sales professional, your ability to quickly build rapport in a consultative selling approach will be put to the test as you build and manage strong relationships with your clients (from engineering managers to C-level executives). - 4+ years selling enterprise-class software solutions through channel partners, within the IT Security market
- Ability to develop new partners from initial cold call to executive to preferred partner status
- Technical competency & knowledge of multiple platforms in correlation with Security solutions, competitors and market landscape is required
- Strong closing and sales negotiation skills
- Salesforce.com experience
