Channel Account Manager Desktone
Desktone is changing the way people buy and deploy desktops. Desktone pioneered Desktops as a Service, offering the easiest and most affordable way to deploy virtual desktops. By delivering virtual desktops in the cloud, Desktone users can rapidly provision desktops to users anywhere to any device without the upfront costs and complexity of traditional desktop virtualization.
This position is based in New England and is not open to relocation. The Channel Account Manager you will report directly to Desktone's VP of Sales. This role should be considered a perfect fit for Sales reps with Channel Experience as well as Field Sales reps with at least two years experience.
Responsibilities:
Work with existing Desktone Channel Partners and Service providers.
Outstanding enthusiasm and a willingness to embrace the Desktone Sales Process (which you will be teaching to channel partners).
Work with partners through all aspects of the sales cycle, including:
Account planning and organizational mapping.
Demos and Proof of Concepts
Proposal development and negotiation.
Coordination of pre-sales, professional services, and post sale support resources as necessary.
Sales stage tracking and reporting of partner deals in Salesforce.com.
Territory ? Focus on North America.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 2+ years sales experience selling software solutions (SaaS preferably).
Proven track record selling and closing opportunities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Bachelor's degree.
Self starter with past success in start-up environment.
Must be able to travel 20% of the time.
Compensation and Benefits:
