Channel Account Manager:
Territory: Southeast and South Central commercial channels
Identify, recruit and on-board new channel partners within assigned territory.
Coordinate with partners to create and execute business plans to meet sales goals.
Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned partner accounts.
Analyze market trends and accordingly develop sales plans to increase brand awareness.
Evaluate partner sales performance and recommend improvements.
Educate partners about product portfolio and complimentary services offered.
Address partner related issues, sales conflicts and pricing issues in a timely manner.
Manage sales pipeline, forecast monthly sales and identify new business opportunities.
Develop positive working relationship with partners to build business.
Stay current with latest developments in marketplace and competitor activities.
Communicate up-to-date information about new products and enhancements to partners. .
Deliver partner presentations and attend sales meetings and partner conferences.
Assist in partner marketing activities such as tradeshows, campaigns and other promotional activities.
Drives adoption of company programs among assigned partners.
Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates partner needs on an ongoing basis.
Ensures partner compliance with CCPN requirements.
Territory and Business Planning
Experience and Skills:
Strong knowledge of industry products and sales tactics.
Strong organizational and planning skills.
Strong verbal, listening and written communication skills.
Strong presentation skills
Prefer a Bachelor's degree of equivalent with a minimum of 7 - 10 years of related experience.
Ability to take ownership and resolves (un) anticipated problems with minimal negative effect on schedules and instead, improve client/partner satisfaction.
Ability to align partners by market segments/vertical
Proficient in developing a channel sales coverage model to support sales and business goals within their geographic (Vertical) market(s).
Ability and business acumen to drive strategic planning and execution
Ability to Identify opportunities, risks and resources required to achieve business targets
Ability to work with extended teams to drive mind-share/team and in a collaborative environment.
Takes leadership role in presenting solution overviews, benefits, and ROI
Delivers clear, accurate, honest messages that inspire and drive commitment.
