Job Description
The Channel Analyst will execute the day to day service delivery for all ChannelAdvisor outsourced service verticals including but not limited to Search, Comparison Shopping Engines (CSE) and Marketplaces Services. The Channel Analyst will review, analyze, and evaluate internal business as well as end user requests. The Channel Analyst shall possess knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular technology vertical. Relies on pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Focuses on meeting strict deadlines with the highest expectations for customer delivery and satisfaction.
Essential Job Functions:
Assist in complex software set-up, deployment and post deployment support/operation
Field ad hoc technical inquiries regarding functionality, installation, deployment and customization of inventory feeds
Provide formal and ad hoc status to senior internal and external personnel.
Assist in the collection and consolidation of required information and data to complete assigned task(s)
Handle customer service inquiries as they arise
Required Skills
Job Specifications:
Strong communication skills; the ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
The ability to build customer relationships (internal and external)
Ability to work with little instruction on day-to-day work, and achieve results when presented with only general instructions on new assignments
The ability to present ideas effectively to individuals or groups
Proficient with MS Excel; MS Access and PowerPoint a plus
Experience working in an ecommerce environment supporting a high volume of work requests
Basic understanding of online marketing and advertising concepts a plus
Background in software development and customer service a plus
Bachelor?s degree with at least 2 year of Internet enterprise application or software experience preferred
