The Position:
The Channel & Alliances Marketing Manager will have a dual role supporting both Channel and Strategic & Technology Alliance marketing activities globally. As a core member of the Marketing team, the Channel & Alliances Marketing Manager will spearhead activities relating to Technology Alliances and System Integrators in concert with all global channel programs and communications, including driving online and offline events and working with our various partners to drive both awareness of FireEye technology integrations and the solution features and benefits of each alliance partner we team with. In addition, the Channel & Alliances Marketing Manager will handle all aspects of event management and lead generation (trade shows, webinars, lunch and learns, road shows) for co-sponsored FireEye activities with technology alliances and system integration partners. The Channel & Alliances Marketing Manager will be required to help create both channel and technology alliances content, to refresh existing collateral, and to manage the presence of system integration and technology alliance partners on both the FireEye Partner Portal and the main FireEye Corporate website. The person in this role will work closely with the Global Industry Alliance Program team, System Integration team and within the marketing team and report up through the Sr. Channel Marketing Manager to the CMO. The position will be based in Silicon Valley.
The Candidate:
The successful candidate will have 4-6 years of high technology marketing experience with a focus on supporting channel and strategic technology partnerships.
Industry alliance marketing expertise and experience with enterprise security technology products are highly valuable. Candidates with high energy, drive and initiative, who have demonstrated leadership in their career as well as team player with a responsive attitude and a desire for success, will be given preference.
Required Skills and Attributes:
Strong written and oral communication skills are mandatory:
ability to create and execute on a partner communication strategy with measurable goals
possess presentation creation and speaking skills
compelling and targeted content creation
Bachelor's degree is required
Experience driving partner marketing programs and events for an enterprise-focused company- creating landing pages, invitations, campaigns for partners
Industry alliance marketing expertise and experience with enterprise security technology products are highly valuable
Demonstrated organization and prioritization skills
Ability to engage with the sales and partner communities with good understanding of the company message and ability to establish credibility; build and maintain positive and profitable partner relationships
Other:
Some knowledge of Salesforce.com and/or Marketo tools would be an asset
Website managements skills, specifically Wordpress, are a plus
