Channel Development Manager, Lead Generation - Mobile/E-Commerce Avalara

Job Description:Avalara is looking for an experienced channel marketing/lead generating professional with strong people skills and a working knowledge of the Mobile, E-Commerce and online commerce marketplaces. The primary responsibility of this role will be lead/demand generation, pipeline building, marketing development and increasing the involvement and expanding the performance of our Channel Partners in Avalaras Mobile and E-Commerce growth sector.
Job Duties:
Identifying key individuals within partner organizations and working with them on understanding the benefits of Avalaras partner programs (increasing a firms value with clients, recurring revenue potential, etc.), and helping them identify client prospects
Working with active partners to identify prospects and generate leads (e-mail campaigns, webinars, assets, etc.)
Working with Partners on customer base initiatives New partner recruitment, sign-up, and on-boarding
Developing and distributing repeatable, high-value Partner Kits
Managing partner events (budgets, logistics, communications, materials, signage, etc.)
Developing and implementing reciprocal partner web links Partner communications - newsletters, e-mail campaigns, promotions, etc.
Partner case studies
Partner appreciation activities (notes, gifts, etc.)
Working with internal resources on partner list data management and cleanup
Experience and Skills:
5+ Years field marketing or sales experience
Strong communications/writing skills
Business or Marketing Degree
Ability and willingness to travel (50+%) to partner sites and events
