We're currently searching for a Channel Marketing Account Manager at our offices in Glenview, north of Chicago, to support our growing reseller partner channel.
Responsibilities:
The Channel Marketing Account Manager assists partners with onboarding their business and launching payroll services for their clients as well as leading marketing campaigns for partner and partner prospects including email, direct mail, online and print advertising, webinars and trade show event.
Other responsibilities of this role include:
Provides targeted messaging for partner websites, newsletters, and other end-user communications as well as sales tools to ensure maximum effectiveness and consistency.
Facilitating thought leadership Webinars for CPE accreditation as well as live training webinars for channel partners and their clients.
Building strong relationships with our business development and channel sales teams to achieve growth in the reseller market
Coordinates and attends tradeshows and additional events to drive partner leads and develop new partner/vendor relationships
Identifies and coordinates Web site updates and enhancements to support partner/vendor sales programs
Negotiates media buys, third-party vendor purchases relating to partner/vendor marketing programs
The ideal candidate will be curious by nature and quickly gain a clear understanding of our partner/reseller market, possess strong knowledge of operations/financial analysis, service pricing, products and position in the marketplace and be aware of product and technological strategies employed by competitive and complimentary organizations within our market space.
This role is ideal for a technology savvy candidate who can marry of love of technology with channel marketing and partner support. Travel to multiple tradeshows/events per year is required.
Requirements:
1-2 years of experience with managing client relationships in a technology service environment. Experience with leading search engine ranking, traffic and web analytics software. Excellent organizational, project management and multi-tasking skills required. Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills required.? A solid understanding of marketing and media planning is required. Technology savvy with experience in Excel (including pivot tables), MS Word, and Power Point is required. Proficiency with media research tools is required.
