Channel Marketing Manager GFI Software

The role of Channel Marketing Manager ? Americas Region, reports to the Director of Channel Marketing. The role holder will be expected to manage the full marketing mix of activities for our SMB and Partner presence in the region. This is an exciting and excellent role for someone able to help us take GFI to a recognized brand status in the market whilst achieving our sales revenue objectives.
Responsible for all partner marketing activities in the geography for our on-premise and cloud solutions for Small to mid-size business
We are a small team and the role holder will be expected to ?roll-up their sleeves? and produce content and execute
Speed and accuracy of decision making, and responsiveness to team stakeholders in the region
A ?can do? attitude, and aptitude to work under time pressures
An ability to prioritize tasks that drive incremental revenue
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develops marketing relationships and activities with GFI Partner ecosystem including Distributors, resellers, VARs, SIs and retailers; including some limited direct sales activity in the UK
Hire shall have skill-set to work with all stakeholders and develop fully fledged business and marketing development plans for the region
Defines and develops channel marketing excellence
Drives portfolio adoption through our Partner ecosystem, Retailers, and virtual stores
Helps refine and enhance channel go-to-market strategy
Determines in collaboration with team the business case development to justify investment in program activities.
Makes appropriate recommendations for marketing investment to key stakeholders and writing a cohesive and comprehensive marketing plan
Marketing incentives, integration into existing GFI partner reseller program and sales tools, including MDF or other marketing spend
Develops all necessary regional messaging/positioning and collateral including sales presentations, and case studies
Supports product launch activities into the region
Leads the development of demand generation activities and programs to support sales growth and portfolio adoption in Partner eco-system
Tracks and reports on marketing activities against goals and maintains program dashboard.
Supports press and industry analyst relations as required
Interacts with all levels of the organization including senior management, channel partners, sales across multiple geographies.

Undergraduate degree in business or marketing mandatory
At least 3 to 5 years marketing experience for a leading software vendor or distributor or reseller, including:
Full marketing mix experience including KPI setting and metric reporting
Experience of building over time a marketing team of direct reports for a software product
Experience of social media, campaign execution and viral marketing, including above-the-line print advertising
Working in a matrix environment, a 100% team player but also able to work independently, be a self-runner and self-motivated
Experience of living and working in USA
Good all round communicator and experience of dealing with multiple stakeholders
Solid communication skills with external parties including PR agencies, marketing agencies, etc
