Channel Marketing Manager AirTight Networks
We are looking for an excellent Channel Marketing Manager to increase reseller and distributor productivity and strengthen our channels worldwide. In this key role, you will develop and manage programs and promotions and recruit, train and ramp new channel partners.
In this role, we require an experienced marketer with a solid understanding of channel marketing programs. This exciting opportunity is for you if you're a "channel marketing rock-star", you have high energy and are able to multi-task and communicate exceedingly well.
As a Channel Marketing Manager, you'll be responsible for marketing, awareness, and demand generation for the channel. You will work very closely with the channel partners, the channel sales team, product management and marketing team to support and accelerate all channel marketing activities. You will be directly responsible for joint marketing programs, channel demand generation, partner launch activities, partner event management, sales promotions, partner portal management, partner communications, and product marketing in partner channels. Continuous innovation is required to effectively engage partners to focus on AirTight solutions. You will have responsibility for a channel marketing budget and will be expected to manage to that budget.
Manage and monitor execution of all channel marketing & demand generation programs, working closely with the distributor & partners as well as the marketing, sales and product management teams.
Work directly with channel partners, customers and internal stakeholders on marketing plans and activities.
Create strategies and concepts for new channel programs designed at channel segments.
Define, execute and communicate channel programs that enhance AirTight's penetration and drive revenue in a market segment through channel partners
Create and deliver innovative channel programs that increase awareness, generate leads, strengthen customer/channel relationships and builds sales opportunities.
Responsible for content management within the Partner Portal, including updating documents, posting new information, providing registered partners with access etc. Serve as the first point of contact for partner questions, including how to navigate within the portal, where to find resources, etc. Also serve as the point person to articulate business needs for portal enhancements.
Make tactical and basic strategic decisions.
Lead the project management of multiple channel programs simultaneously.
Interact with 3rd party vendors and partners.
Define and execute channel programs positioned against competitors.
Responsible for partner communications: developing and sending partner communications on an ongoing basis.
Execute joint partner events & conferences.
Track and manage the related channel program budget.
Requisite Experience and Education
Strong Channel Marketing programs expertise, ideally with global experience.
Thorough marketing background with responsibilities for multiple, broad based marketing initiatives.
Specific industry experience with a good understanding of cloud, wireless and security.
Understanding of and experience in developing and executing channel programs to a market/channel partner segment.
Strong written, oral, interpersonal and presentation skills.
Strong project management, negotiation and decision-making skills.
Ability to build relationships with peers, distributors, resellers and customers.
Work effectively with peers and higher level management.
Use expertise and creativity for innovative marketing recommendations and solutions.

Typically requires BS/BA degree or equivalent plus 10+ years related experience.
MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Key Performance Metrics and Indicators
Channel Partner sales performance
Design and implement metrics to quantify revenue generated from programs executed in the channel.
Evaluate channel program opportunities based on consistency with overall business goals and marketing strategy, as well as ROI, brand synergy, potential impact and execution requirements.
Manage to budget envelope.
Feedback from leadership team that Channel Partner Marketing programs are helping generate sales activity, results, and relevance
Quantitative marketing metrics such as responses, opt-ins, net new names, leads, marketing influenced opportunity and pipeline that convert to bookings that result from the marketing programs Channel Partner Marketing
Qualitative assessments of marketing program results as measured by program adoption, customer preference, internal program adoption and success, anecdotes from Sales and Partners stating that programs are useful and impactful
