Channel Marketing Manager Palo Alto Networks

The Channel Enablement Marketing Manager is responsible for driving the strategy and execution for programs that assure partner readiness to sell and deliver solutions based on Palo Alto Networks products.
Responsibilities:
- Create partner training curriculum and learning path for sales, SEs and consultants.
- Work with product marketing, EDU, SEs and Sales team to document best practices and create and package content for delivery to partners.
- Develop and maintain family of sales toolkits, mapped to sales plays.
- Drive training plan and execution associated with product launches.
- Work with sales and marketing teams globally to define enablement requirements and launch programs.
- Develop tools to enable distribution to enable reseller partners.
- Drive and maintain partner certification programs (ASE, ACE, CSNE).
- Develop framework to measure and impact channel partner readiness and channel productivity.
- Work with Palo Alto Networks Professional Services team to define and launch a Professional Services partner program.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in a relevant marketing role
- BA/ BS or working equivalent. MBA is a plus, but not required.
- Knowledge of technology sales, understand positioning and handling objections, and selling ideas to others.
- Knowledge of value-added resellers, consultants, and 2-tier distribution relative enterprise hardware and software sales.
- Understanding of web-based and instructor led training techniques.
- Strong written, verbal and communication skills.
- Ability to communicate with executive-level associates.
- Experience selling or in product marketing is a bonus, but not required.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail, time management and organizational skills.
