Position Description
The Channel Marketing Manager is responsible for coordinating marketing activities across business channels and brands for Newegg. This role will develop and execute marketing plans and campaigns utilizing MDF-based proposals and internal business objectives to successfully launch new offerings and generate demand for existing products.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement marketing programs (on-site, email, cross-channel) with product teams and merchandisers, web management and marketing teams.
Support Newegg?s merchant-based events with tight integration of our partners into the overall strategy and execution.
Work with the Newegg product and marketing teams to develop, track and analyze MDF spends.
Provide feedback to and influence Product, Marketing, and business channel teams to create increasingly effective demand generation and up-sell programs.
Monitor and measure marketing execution and deliver clear metrics driven results internally and to Newegg partners.
Requires direct contact with internal teams as well as third party vendors.
Qualifications:
Requires a minimum of 5+ years of work related experience in technology or electronics marketing, product marketing, or sales with an emphasis on e-commerce or consumer-driven channels.
Strong marketing competency and demonstrated experience in marketing strategy, demand generation, online marketing, and marketing communications.
BS/BA or similar degree is desired in Business or Marketing. MBA preferred.
Direct experience working within the channel of a multinational professional solutions focused hardware, software, or electronics company.
Strong written and oral communications skills with the ability to effectively interface with all levels of management within Newegg and partner organizations.
Preferred Skills
Strong understanding of consumer and B2B markets as they apply to computer hardware, software, mobile products, and consumer electronics.
Experience in designing and implementing demand generation campaigns across a product ecosystem or multiple vertical markets preferred.
Demonstrated knowledge of consumer and B2B solution-based and/or lifestyle-based approaches with a focus on original and third-party content: usg, oem, reviews, social, video, images.
