We are looking for three (3) talented Channel Marketing Managers to join our Teradici team. As a Channel Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for designing, developing and executing revenue-generating joint marketing programs with our North American channel partners. In this role, we require an experienced marketer with an understanding of channel marketing programs, especially those aimed at increasing channel sell-through.
You will be responsible for marketing, awareness, and demand generation for the channel within your defined territory. You will work very closely with the channel partners, the channel sales team, product management and marketing team to support and accelerate all channel marketing activities within your territory. You will be directly responsible for joint marketing programs, channel demand generation, partner launch activities, partner event management, sales promotions, partner portal management, partner communications, and product marketing in partner channels. You will have responsibility for a channel marketing budget, and will be expected to manage that budget and set it for the appropriate financial period. You must have high energy and be able to multi-task and communicate exceedingly well. Travel within North America is required.
Develop, design, implement and measure marketing, awareness and demand generation programs at both the distributor and reseller levels for your territory. Continuous innovation is required to effectively engage partners to focus on Teradici solutions.
Manage and monitor execution of all channel marketing & demand generation programs, working closely with the distributor & partners as well as the marketing, sales and product management teams.
Evaluate channel program opportunities based on consistency with overall business goals and marketing strategy, as well as ROI, brand synergy, potential impact and execution requirements.
Design and implement metrics to quantify revenue generated from programs executed in the channel.
Responsible for partner communications: developing and sending partner communications on an ongoing basis.
Assist with the management, execution and documentation of activities/programs within the Teradici Channel Partner Program.
Responsible for content management within the Partner Portal, including updating documents, posting new information, providing registered partners with access etc. Serve as the first point of contact for partner questions, including how to navigate within the portal, where to find resources, etc. Also serve as the point person to articulate business needs for portal enhancements.
Responsible for advocating for the channel at product launch meetings (represent concerns/requirements of the Channel), and for developing the product launch plan for the Channel
Build strong relationships with peer marketing contacts at Teradici Focus Partners.
Evaluate current processes, and where necessary, socialize & align with channel sales to establish more efficient and consistent ones.
Evangelize and champion channel mission, purpose and needs internally.
Commission and coordinate channel marketing research to understand customer and partner needs when necessary.
Execute joint partner events & conferences.
Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience in business, marketing, or related field
Minimum 5 years experience in channel marketing, preferably within the North American market
Proven experience in developing and driving channel programs with focus on ROI & channel development
5 - 7 years of experience in the enterprise IT industry segment specifically within channel preferred
Strong understanding of channel ecosystem ? role of distribution, VAR and end user
Excellent interpersonal, communication, teamwork, presentation and project management skills required
Ability to influence partners, peers and management at all levels. A proven relationship building with internal and external teams.
Proven track record in leading and working effectively with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations and finance
Superior presentation & communication skills, both written and oral, to a broad set of internal & external stakeholders.
Self-starter who is capable of asserting their ideas & feedback
Knowledge of PCoIP technology, desktop virtualization, and enterprise-level IT solutions would be an asset
