Overview:
The Channel Solutions team supports our Sales, Marketing, IT and Operations efforts in a diverse and challenging global business environment.
As a Channel Operations Manager, this position will be responsible for managing the delivery of multiple small to medium size low complexity projects. These projects will require the Channel Ops Manager to ?lead/influence? all stakeholders. On larger or more complex projects, the Channel Operations Manager will participate and/or lead in projects of high strategic importance to the corporation and its business units acting as a consultant / subject matter expert to a traditional Project Manager.
This role is required to plan and help execute the channel?s merchant/partner integration projects and/or Product Launch projects. You will be required to review and fully understand all project and business requirements, direct stakeholders at multiple levels of management as well coordinating across internal and external functional groups to ensure on-time and in-spec project delivery.
The position has responsibility for assuring client/channel satisfaction that will help maximize profits. Helping to develop solutions for Asia Pacific market challenges, planning for needs of the channel, overseeing activities to facilitate project work flow in a timely manner, & breaking down barriers when necessary to assure the needs of InComm Merchants and Partners are met. The Channel Operations Manager will work to streamline the process of getting from sales opportunity to a clearly defined, approved project through launch. This role will maintain a backlog of sales opportunities, and champion the collection of information essential to gaining project approvals through the Governance process.
The role will also deliver analyses, documentation, and process improvements which improve the way we execute, increases efficiency as well as drive merchant satisfaction. This role will provide a consolidated, single point of service and information for the sales teams as well as engage with our merchant customer base directly as needed.
Responsibilities:
Key Accountabilities:
Build rapport with sales managers within the Asia Pacific channel to enable effective communication of project work and a close/collaborative working relationship
Monitor the project/program from initiation through delivery, interfacing with cross-functional stakeholders, including Marketing, Information Technology and Finance.
Coordinate, track and provide concise status reports for complex projects including IT integrations, and product development initiatives.
Apply project management skills on strategic initiatives through understanding business needs and organizational direction
Translate certain documentation and processes.
Promote idea generation and collaboration with cross functional teams
In collaboration with sales, define and enforce buying cycles for assigned channel
Partner with team members to determine best practices to be applied cross channel
Serve as subject matter expert on internal processes for project types within assigned channel
Track and log issues to be addressed at quarterly reviews, suggest process improvements
Provide forecasting for upcoming projects to support planning and resource alignment
Communicate changes and updates to cross functional organizations
Escalate project delays in a timely manner to avoid ?firedrill? mode
Ability to multi-task as well as work independently and willing to get hands into the details of the business and execute assigned work
Job requires some ?shift? work, Must be available to host/lead calls that will occur in the Asia Pacific Time Zone
Business Priorities:
Complete Monthly Forecast for Cross Functional Teams (Retail Solutions Group/Launch Managers) of upcoming integration/product add projects.
Create quarterly scorecards and review results with Channel Sales Team(s) to identify process improvements of gaps.
Quarterly Review of Merchant & Product information is up to date with pertinent information for reference
Maintain Weekly tracking Log of all projects in Channel pipeline to ensure on time delivery
Develop and maintain knowledge base for assigned merchant channel
Combining technical and project management implementation expertise to execute projects/programs. Meet with team members on a regular basis regarding their mission-oriented project tasks to ensure that project/program milestones are met.

Essential Knowledge / Experience:
MUST be Fluent in Korean & English
Minimum 3 ? 5 years Applicable Experience Working in a Project Management and/or Operations type role in a relevant Industry and/or setting.
Basic conversation skills in Chinese (preferred but not required)
Demonstrated ability to plan, think and act independently to execute projects
Comfortable working with cross functional teams in a fast paced project environment which includes remote teams
Ability to prepare presentations and briefings
Strong business acumen and understanding of IT services
Ability to direct the activities of others to ensure completion of projects

Education Requirements
Bachelor?s Degree in Business, IT Operations, Related Field, or Equivalent Work Experience Required.
PMP Certification Preferred, but Not Required
