Position Profile: The Channel Partner Manager position, working closely with the Director, Business Development, will be responsible for creating and facilitating material revenue through joint, professional marketing and selling efforts to maximize these opportunities.
The ideal candidate will have direct experience working with these partners as an employee or as a partner manager.
Job Responsibilities
Drive profitable revenue and coordinated deal by deal sales efforts, with and through the strategic partner?s existing sales and marketing channels.
Compete for mindshare and position iovation?s services offerings as a key and valuable route to new clients, additional revenue and strategic advantage for the partner sales organizations.
Establish, develop and maintain strong professional sales relationships with Channel Partners direct and indirect revenue generating organizations.
Drive iovation revenue through creative and proactive campaigns of all sorts.
Support and leverage other channel efforts, field marketing, product launches and product promotions as well as certifications and specializations.
Keep current with our product release information including sales materials, product roadmap, features, applications, competition and disseminate to partners as appropriate.
Organize Channel Partner Sales & Technical Enablement Training classes.
Coordinate co-selling activity and create and resolve channel conflict.
Perform business metrics reviews and analysis of each Channel Partner?s performance on a quarterly basis.
Establish and maintain positive & proactive relationships with partner sales reps/management to build mindshare and drive sales activity.
Target and Prospect for new Strategic Partners in support of Business development annual plan.
Create and execute a partner account business plan focused on demand creation, sales growth, and partner sales development.
Aid in developing monthly and quarterly strategic initiatives that will result in increasing the Channel Partner monthly bookings.
Travel when necessary to partner events to represent Iovation, and or present our solutions to both partners and end customers of partners. As much as 75%.
Meet/Exceed Partner Sales Bookings/Revenue Goals.
Coordinate the On-boarding process of new Channel Partners.
Maintain iovation/partner SalesForce forecasting and metrics.
Provide feedback and help structure forward thinking Partner Agreements.
Essential Skills and Experience
10+ years Channel or Partner Management experience
Good understanding of two tier sales model
Experience building channel account / business plans
Strong technology /software sales background
Fraud Management or Security sales experience is a plus
Excellent communication skills ? written and spoken
Good negotiation skills
