Channel Partner Relationship Manager RealMed
The Channel Partner Relationship Manager?s mission is to proactively build and maintain relationships using direct communication channels with Clearinghouses, Large Submitters, Value Added Resellers (VARs), Practice Management (PM) systems, Electronic Medical Record (EMR) vendors, IT consultants and other third party business partners to advance Availity in the Healthcare Information Exchange (HIE) market.
The Channel Partner Relationship Manager position requires expert communication and relationship building skills to interact effectively, and accomplish objectives at all organizational levels. The Account Management team will manage the relationship and post-sales day-day-complexities of supporting customers. The position will focus on relationship management, strategic account planning, and identification of revenue enhancement and optimization opportunities. The position requires a self starter. Travel is required.
Stays current on industry and competitive trends, and applies knowledge of marketplace to account planning processes.
Responsible for building strong inter-departmental relationships to achieve individual and Account Management team objectives.
Obtains, utilizes, and accurately summarizes key competitive data for management in a timely manner that assists in achieving desired account results.
Monitors and supports retention through volume analysis and account penetration.
Reports regularly on the progress and accomplishment of stated goals by updating metrics that track results.
Owns the relationship between complex assigned accounts and Availity, and acts as the primary point of contact for accountability, escalation and resolution of issues originating from the customers or internal teams.
Subject Matter Expert on partner integration for all internal departments.
Works with cross functional teams to facilitate day to day customer operations, and ensure there are no unresolved issues or concerns.
Effectively manages all aspects of the re-contracting process including pricing, proposal, administration functions, preparation for negotiations and customer presentations.
Partnership Development ? identify partner targets for successful engagement; initiate/lead discussions to generate interest; execute addendums and/or proposals and liaise with all internal departments to ensure successful implementations
Relationship Management ? ongoing account management to ensure partner satisfaction is realized and ongoing account development to ensure partner potential is maximized
Reporting and Analysis ? weekly and monthly reporting internally to senior management and externally to partners; analysis of results and recommendations for improvements, and revenue optimizations
Define needed process required to effectively manage the relationship between Availity and the partner including management of sales leads, support request, and deployment. Ability to document processes is a must.
Responsible for maintaining and growing revenue stream.
Identifies and coordinates marketing, management and technical resources necessary to achieve existing account up-sell objectives, partner satisfaction, and maximizing partner potential.
Communicates with accounts on a regular basis based on tier structure and need, via newsletters, email, phone, and/or face to face meetings.
Occasional travel to partner location, sales shows, user group meetings, etc. is required.
WORK EXPERIENCE & SKILLS (Required)

5 or more years of alliance, account or customer management and development experience in health care, payer, provider relations, or technology environment.
Knowledge of healthcare payer processing, provider/hospital office operations, customer service and IT operations.
Experience with provider community to include hospitals, physicians, and ancillary facilities.
Experience with healthcare vendor community, including payers, billing services, practice management systems and clearinghouses.
Technical systems integration knowledge.
HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) knowledge.
Experience working in an entrepreneurial company.
WORK EXPERIENCE & SKILLS (Preferred)
5 years or more of healthcare experience
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION (Required)
Bachelor?s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or equivalent work experience in a Relationship Management role of increasing responsibility.
