Retailigence enables next-generation location-based services (mobile apps, digital advertising, social networking applications) by providing a data platform for local retail product and brand inventory. Retailigence increases retailer's foot traffic, sales and profitability and helps brands ensure that their loyal customers can find their products.
In order to rapidly scale the number of new retailers joining the Retailigence platform, Retailigence collaborates with enterprise software partners, like ERP, POS and Ecommerce vendors and systems intergrators to create partnerships and automated mechanisms for their customers connect to Retailigence and be part of the new world order of SoLoMo (Social/LocalMobile).
Role
We need to quickly add a Channel Partner Manager/Director to expand our presence with ISVs such as Point of Sale (POS) vendors, ERP vendors, eCommerce vendors, etc., and to create an outstanding experience for our partners and their customers.
The ideal candidate would have a strong business acumen coupled witha strong technical background (perhaps as a brilliant Pre-Sales Consultant or Systems Engineer) from the enterprise software industry with a strong track-record of results, who wants to move into a position of higher authority with a more business-oriented role. Excellent opportunity to build-out a new division of a fast-growing company in expansion phase.
This position will have direct revenue impact to our company's growth and will be measured by the number of partners, the amount of business from each partner and the satisfaction of both customers (retailers) and Partners. Stock options will be provided.
Responsibilities
--Partner Identification, Relationship Development, Joint Value Proposition Development, Partnership Formalization & Support
oIdentify suitable partners with retailer relationships and access to retail store inventory
oReach out to partner and creatively ideate a win-win partner relationship
oAct as the main point of contact to the partner (from both a technical and business perspective)
oManage all aspects of partner on-boarding with respect to documentation, integration, training and education
oParticipate in the ongoing maintenance, development & growth of the partner relationship
--Customer Pre-Sales, Envisioning and Integration Design Support
oProvide hands-on support (both business solution and technical details) for partner's customer presentations
oCreate demos to demonstrate partner-oriented solutions to customer problems
oGet directly involved in the technical aspects of key accounts along with partner's sales organization, if and as needed
--Retailigence Process Management & Improvement
oCommunication of partner's and customer's needs to the internal organization
oDesign processes and manage overall partner on-boarding program
oAdvocate for partners and prioritize any development needs, feature requests, etc.
oParticipate in development of partner training materials, partner portal, and other support materials as needed
Qualifications

--Software/Data Experience
oKnowledge of some ERP, POS, Merchandising and/or other retail-related business software systems such as Epicor, SAP, NetSuite, NEC, IBM, Oracle, Microsoft is required
oExperience working with product data, UPC codes, EDI, size/color variants, various databases, SQL, XML, EDI, SaaS platforms and Mobile are all advantageous
--Technical Experience/Ability
o5+ years' relevant experience in pre-sales, technical alliances and partnerships, customer program management and/or technical product management relevant to ISVs.
oNot afraid to be put in a situation where one needs to quickly white-board a joint solution
--Personal
oExcellent written and verbal communication skills.
oMust be able to travel as needed (10-20%)
