Channel Sales Director - Acquisitions ON24
The responsibility of the Channel Sales Director is to drive significant growth of ON24?s business in the North American region by signing new channel partners and developing new channel verticals for the company.
The Channel Sales Director will be responsible for selling the full spectrum of ON24?s solutions ? audio and video fully managed webcasting, self-service webcasting applications (Webcast Elite and Webcast Enterprise), and Virtual Environment Solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is looking for an exciting opportunity in channel sales with the best suite of products in the business.
Close new channel business with key decision makers in target accounts (C-Levels/VP / Sr. Directors of Business Development, Product Management, Alliances, etc.)
Develop and execute an acquisition strategy focused on increasing wins & revenue in existing channel segments and driving channel diversification in new vertical markets
Achieve all sales targets set by the company
Penetrate existing ON24 global accounts to identify and advance indirect sales / channel opportunities.
Review and enhance existing partner programs to drive channel acquisition strategy
Liaise closely with ON24 Product Management and Client Services to enhance sales enablement programs for new partner growth and impact roadmap efforts.
Drive custom development / services efforts when required to secure and support strategic new business opportunities.
Liaise closely with ON24 Channel Marketing and Demand Generation teams to launch targeted channel campaigns and outbound marketing efforts focused on partner acquisition.
Contribute to ON24 thought leadership efforts to drive awareness of Solutions and Applications across the marketplace. Attend key industry events, seminars, and programs to stay up-to-date on the latest developments, trends, and regulations in the market place. Work closely with ON24 marcomm to educate prospective channel market on ON24 solutions.
Keep current with all ON24 product information, pricing and contract terms.
Travel, as required, to meet prospects and customer face-to-face. Approx 30-35% travel.
Significant experience selling SaaS-based solutions (direct or channel experience)
7+ years of Channel Sales "Hunting" experience in the B2B space with demonstrated success in solution sales - online publishing/advertising, consulting services, enterprise software or SaaS, or other products/services.
Specific experience selling marketing campaigns/lead packages to fortune brands and established record of driving channel sales a big plus.
Demonstrated experience developing new business relationships; a true ?hunter? mentality who strives for the close.
A Bachelor's degree in business, communication, or related field.
Ability to converse in a knowledgeable manner on various industry topics and virtual technologies in order to ?sell? opportunities to prospective customers.
Must have proficiency speaking and writing professionally in English.
Ability to create successful sales strategies for ON24 products and/or services.
Must have the ability and skills to develop relationships quickly, both internally within ON24 and externally with prospect/customers.
Must possess highly developed organizational, planning, management and negotiation skills.
Must have superior written and oral communication skills.
Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, quota-driven environment with changing needs and requirements.
