The Channel Sales Executive, EMEA will develop and execute successful indirect sales strategy for rapid revenue growth from the assigned market (Europe, the Middle East, and Africa). The position will require aggressive activity, independent initiative and skills while working within the existing sales team environment. He/she should have an impressive history of complex capital equipment sales, preferably to pathologists, within the target market. You should be comfortable calling on the C-Suite, delivering vision, and orchestrating multi departmental/site evaluations.
The ideal candidate will have: 5-10 years experience in high level selling within the healthcare space, proven ability to manage and expand a territory for continued growth. He/she will possess a strong understanding of business and laboratory operations in a clinical laboratory, experience in pathology or related product sales, excellent written and verbal communication skills. Targeted accounts will include, reference laboratories, hospitals and other organisations that would benefit from Aperio's digital pathology product line.
The Channel Sales Executive is someone who can:
--Develop and execute a business strategy focusing on the targeted Distributors within the EMEA territory and deliver the expected Sales Goals as set by Sales management.
--Work closely with the Channel Sales Manager to manage the performance of key Distributors within EMEA, involving regular contact through telephone, email and site visits. Review the Distributor pipeline of opportunities; give support and advice to facilitate the growth of their business.
--Identify new channels in key countries/territories where currently Aperio is not represented
--Work closely with the Marketing team , Sales Director, EMEA Healthcare and also regular contact with Senior VP of Sales, Global Healthcare to build strong channel sales
--Work closely with the Legal and Sales Administration group to generate the suitable level of Distributor/Dealer/Agent agreement in accordance with the capabilities of the Distributor and likely business revenues likely from the territory
--Maintain and update the company CRM (Salesforce.com) with all relevant details of communications with Distributors, prospects and customers
--Maintain and foster strong communications with the Field Engineering group in Europe and the US
Requirements
--BA/BS
--Excellent written and verbal communications skills
--Extensive knowledge of the pathology market is highly desirable
--5-10 years successful selling experience in clinical healthcare space, pathology highly desirable
--Track record of rapidly and consistently generating sales revenue
--Must have a valid drivers license and automobile insurance
--Ability to travel a significant percentage of time
--Fluency in English required - French, German or Spanish is also preferred
