Channel Sales Manager - Acquisitions ON24
The responsibility of the Channel Sales Manager is to drive significant growth of ON24?s business in the North American region by signing new channel partners in specific vertical markets and helping drive growth of existing ON24 channel partners.
The Channel Sales Manager will be responsible for selling the full spectrum of ON24?s SaaS-based solutions ? audio and video fully managed webcasting, self-service webcasting applications (Webcast Elite and Webcast Enterprise), and Virtual Environment Solutions. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Prospect, secure meeting, and close new channel business with key decision makers in specified target accounts.
Conduct presentations and product demonstrations.
Consult with prospects to determine the best solutions for their specific needs. Recommend solutions, prepare and present proposals and get contracts executed.
Achieve all sales targets set by the company.
Penetrate existing ON24 global accounts to identify and advance indirect sales / channel opportunities.
Log sales activity (prospecting, opportunities, revenue, next steps) in salesforce.com.
Liaise closely with ON24 Product Management and Client Services to enhance sales enablement programs.
Drive custom development / services efforts when required to secure and support strategic new business opportunities.
Liaise closely with ON24 Channel Marketing and Demand Generation teams to launch targeted channel campaigns and outbound marketing efforts focused on partner acquisition.
Keep current with all ON24 product information, pricing and contract terms.
Travel, as required, to meet prospects and customer face-to-face. Approx 50% travel.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
Experience selling SaaS-based solutions (direct or channel experience).
3+ years of Channel Sales "Hunting" experience in the B2B space with demonstrated success in solution sales.
Experience working with consulting / outsourcing services & System Integrators is a major plus.
Demonstrated experience developing new business relationships; a true ?hunter? mentality who strives for the close.
A Bachelor's degree in business, communication, or related field.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
Ability to converse in a knowledgeable manner on various industry topics and virtual technologies in order to ?sell? opportunities to prospective customers.
Must have proficiency speaking and writing professionally in English
Ability to create successful sales strategies for ON24 products and/or services.
Must have the ability and skills to develop relationships quickly, both internally within ON24 and externally with prospect/customers.
Must possess highly developed organizational, planning, management and negotiation skills.
Must have superior written and oral communication skills.
Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, quota-driven environment with changing needs and requirements.
