Channel Sales Representative Guardian Analytics
Job Overview
Reporting to the Channel Sales Manager, the successful Channel Sales Representative will: promote and increase sales through a team of assigned reseller and referral partners; build and maintain relationships with channel partner management and sales teams; ensure that Guardian Analytics expertise (a key differentiator) is available to the channel partner sales teams to assist with positioning; provide hands-on expertise and training to channel partner sales teams and assist in introducing our innovative fraud prevention solutions to the channel partners' customers; and contribute to increased close rate through channel partners by differentiating Guardian Analytics solutions among competitive options.
Responsibilities:
Create awareness for company products amongst assigned team of channel partners.
Assist channel partners with product positioning and pricing/quoting issues.
Will participate in partner sales calls.
Optimize operational efficiency with the sales forecasting and order process.
Perform weekly forecast, manage pipeline, and drive sales revenue plans to meet goals.
Monitor channel partners' performance to objectives and provide guidance/coaching as necessary.
Maintain knowledge in product, marketplace, and current business issues, and disseminate appropriate knowledge to channel partners.
Assess needs of channel partner sales teams and conduct product and sales training as needed.
Develop specific marketing programs to channel partners, driving new Guardian Analytics product sales and new business referrals.
Build and maintain positive relationships with channel partners.
Act as liaison between channel partners and Guardian Analytics' sales team, generating and closing new opportunities from partner referrals.
Provide feedback from channel partners to internal cross-functional teams with regard to product selling issues.
Interacts with inside and field sales, sales management, professional services, customer success, business development, finance, marketing and channel partners.
Operates under moderate supervision.
Be aware of, and comply with, all corporate policies.
Job involves 40% travel (via plane)
Education, Experience & Training required:
Sales experience in the financial services industry is required
BA/BS or equivalent experience
3+ years related experience
Excellent communication skills, focusing on persuasion and presentation skills
Experience in channel sales preferred
