Chief Accounting Officer (CAO) INRIX in Kirkland, WA INRIX is seeking a world class Chief Accounting Officer (CAO). The position will be responsible for directing the corporation?s worldwide general accounting practices and operations; financial controls; internal and external reporting, including regulatory reporting; oversight of financial information systems; and external audit and tax efforts. The CAO reports to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and to internal business partners on financial and operational matters. He/she should demonstrate a proactive, business partnership style and the leadership capacity to assume increasing responsibility in finance management.

Primary Responsibilities
Strategic and tactical business partner and advisor to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), finance staff and functional leaders in providing financial and accounting leadership on business management and controls.
Responsible for the framework of internal controls, lead SOX efforts, and assure that strong internal controls are maintained that allow the Corporation?s financial reporting to be effective and in compliance.
Prepare consolidated financial reports and operating results and interpret/analyze the data provided to senior management and the Board of Directors. Lead the monthly close meeting ensuring that all projects and follow up items that arise are proactively resolved.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements footnotes and SEC filings if the company becomes public. Oversee all regulatory reporting and filing in compliance with US GAAP.
Understand the implications of proposed changes in Financial Accounting Standards (FASB) and SEC regulations (if applicable) and communicate the impact to both senior corporate management and operating personnel, as necessary.
Lead M&A financial due diligence and financial integration of acquisitions.
Act as the principal day-to-day company liaison with the company?s external auditors and other external service providers, providing them with guidance in the overall Company control environment, changes in accounting/financial practices and management of the quarterly and annual conduct of the accounting firm?s financial audits and quarterly reviews.
Present financial results to audit committee of the BOD, maintain regular dialogue with the Chair of the Audit committee and coordination of Audit Committee agendas as required.
Build a top-performing finance organization to meet the changing demands of the business.
Required Skillset
Ten or more years of increasing responsibility and a track record of success in accounting and control in private and public company environments, ideally with a mixture of corporate center and divisional experience.
Strong technical accounting experience (revenue recognition, purchase accounting, consolidations, and foreign currency translation).
SEC reporting experience and deep understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley 404 compliance with strong grasp of internal controls.
Operational leadership experience preferred.
Bachelor?s degree in Accounting or Finance and CPA required; M.B.A. preferred.
