Chief Accounting Officer Ping Identity
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED DescriptionThe Chief Accounting Officer (CAO) will be a key member of the Finance Leadership Team of Ping Identity, and report directly to the Chief Financial Officer and ultimately to the Audit Committee of the Board. The CAO will be responsible for the efficient and effective functioning of the day-to-day financial and accounting operations of the Company. This oversight includes the Company?s system of internal control, general ledger, internal financial systems, external financial reporting, treasury management, tax and audit.
? Financial Management
? Enhance the Company?s internal control environment, ultimately to comply with the provisions of SOX.
? Ensure the timeliness and accuracy of the Company?s books and records, prepared in accordance with GAAP.
? Help constitute the Company?s independent audit committee and then develop the cadence of quarterly meetings / approvals necessary to meet the requirements of a public company
? Coordinate the external audit and supervise the conduct of the audit with the Company?s independent accountants
? Implement, maintain and monitor accounting policies and procedures in accordance with GAAP
? Treasury maintenance for investment of excess cash, the worldwide bank account structure and other related cash-flow issues
? Interact with outside accounting firms to ensure accurate and timely and comprehensive tax filings
? Maintain compliance with the reporting requirements of the Company?s debt agreements
? Oversee and manage all banking relationships on behalf of Company and its clients
? Supervise Accounting staff to ensure their continued development
? At least 10 years of overall professional experience
? Prior experience as a CAO within a public company desired
? A working style that is comfortable with driving change, and effective at managing interpersonal relationships
? Experience working within internal financial applications to extract / tag the data / attributes needed to effectively tell the performance story
? Commitment to training and development of the broader organization
? A successful track record in setting priorities; keen analytic, organization and problem solving skills which support and enable sound decision making
? Excellent communication and relationship building skills with an ability to prioritize, negotiate, and work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
? A multi-tasker with the ability to wear many hats in a fast-paced environment
? Software / Saas / technology experience preferred, but not required, as is experience supporting a recurring revenue / subscription business model
