Lijit is seeking an experienced Software Architect to guide our platform to the next level of scale. We represent one of the largest networks in the world, servicing up to 1Billion transactions a day, processing terabytes of data daily. The candidate must have experience in the development of large scale systems, have a true understanding of internet protocols and internet services, and know what it means to manage data center and application issues.Requirements:
- At Least 10 years Software development experience
- Real world experience on highly scalable systems
- Ability to mentor software engineers
- Technically current on the latest technologies, open source software, innovations, and methodologies.
- Intimate knowledge of OOD and Relational Database Systems
- Big Data experience desirable
- Distributed Systems experience desirable
-Java, core Java, threading, NBIO experience desirable
- knowledge of cutting edge technologies such as Hadoop, Storm, Kafka, Flume, etc?
- A strong desire to research and stay abreast of advances in the world of highly distributed, highly scalable systems
