This is a unique opportunity to join an exciting and fast growing start-up that is leading the way with hundreds of customers in building the Subscription Economy. As a senior leader in our Global Services organization, you will have an impact in shaping and influencing the direction of the organization. As the Global Services (GS) Chief Architect, you will have a proven track record in enterprise software development and deployment, billing applications or cloud-based implementations. You possess the ability to be a strategic and analytical thinker with a high level of situational intelligence. You must be able to work in an ambiguous environment with a global workforce and drive collaboration around sound technical decisions.
You will work with a team, both within GS and other Zuora teams, to define, publish and implement methodologies for solution delivery. Often asked to promote Zuora's solutions to prospective accounts, you will act as a product and services champion. You will work closely with our clients and must demonstrate individual functional and professional knowledge to ensure that GS work products and deliverables are of the highest caliber. You will also apply project management expertise to identify, develop, and implement techniques and tools to improve engagement productivity, increase efficiencies, mitigate risks, resolve issues, and optimize cost savings and efficiencies.
Document and educate stakeholders on system integration techniques and product architectures as well as tools, processes, and methodologies.
Apply the Zuora Methodology and drive best practices into technical work across Zuora GS and our partner ecosystem.
Define requirements and develop the architectural roadmaps and reference architectures for internal and client consumption.
Act as a thought leader both inside and outside Zuora, as a spokesperson for GS and Zuora.
Lead technical GS teams to develop solutions and strategies by identifying opportunities and issues within the client engagement cycle, as well as defining solutions, developing business cases and delivery plans for our services team.
Define and communicate the role of technology in delivering Zuora solutions.
Work with the Customer Success Team to ensure client issues are resolved and opportunities raised where appropriate.
Support new sales cycles and act as a solution lead and executive sponsor.
Able to understand the big picture and to outline and grasp the details needed to implement both internal and customer-facing solutions that result in greater effectiveness of our client delivery and go-lives.
Experience in integrating cloud-based solutions with ERP, accounting, provisioning, portals and CRM systems, such as salesforce.com and NetSuite.
Experience with system design, configuration, customization, integration, testing and support.
Experience with all aspects of the system implementation including, but not limited to, gathering requirements, designing the future state solution, the development objects related to their process scope, as well as supporting testing and post implementation support.
Knowledge of integration points and the order in which these must be executed.
Experience designing and implementing, and support of knowledge management solutions and related technologies for collaborative information sharing.
Experience building productivity tools for development and services engagements.
Experience with gap analysis and strategic roadmap/blueprint development.
Experience with large Full Life Cycle (FLC) project implementations
Experience in driving innovation into business operations and customer experience.
Master of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent education and/or experience is preferred.
Start-Up experience is preferred.
