Chief Architect AtTask

AtTask is looking for a Chief Architect to help us architect, design and develop our Project Management Software platform. The individual in this position will be responsible for guiding our technology platform through the next phase of company growth.

Responsibilities

Own and develop the architectural roadmap for the AtTask technology platform.
Propose frameworks, technologies and standards for development.
Work with others in Engineering, QA and Operations to create interoperable elements of an overall system which are highly reliable and scalable
Mentor developers, set and review coding standards
Trouble-shoot and resolve complex design and code problems.
Collaborate with the CTO, VP of Engineering, and VP of Product Management on strategic direction of the product
Manage, evaluate, and hire technical staff.


Qualifications

Must have 4 year degree ? no exceptions. BS or MS Degree in Computer Science preferred.
Minimum of 15 years experience in software development with increasing responsibilities over software and systems architecture
Minimum of 10 years hands-on Java programming experience
Minimum of 10 years developing for web-based platforms
Experience designing and implementing SaaS platforms that support large user populations
Must have experience working with Systems Engineering and Operations teams.
Demonstrated ability to communicate vision and collaborate with large organizations, including senior management.
Some management experience a plus.
Ability to work in teams and have a great passion.
