We are a small team working on an innovative solution to the problem of Physician education. You will have the opportunity to learn a ton in a short period of time and play a pivotal role within the company.The ideal candidate is an experienced software developer who is enthusiastic about working in a startup environment and has an interest in Healthcare. We expect the candidate to assume a chief developer role within the company and work with the founders on the following processes:
Machine learning and API query code base in Python
Document management in MongoDB
Front-end Web and Mobile application
Software architecture
The ideal candidate would have a knack for problem-solving and be willing to experiment with creative solutions. He/she should be motivated to work independently and be comfortable with assuming responsibility during key development phases of the product.
Required education/skills:
B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Physics or related scientific field
An understanding of computer algorithms and their implementation
Programming experience in Python and other object-oriented languages
Experience with software architecture and testing
Optional
M.S. and/or PhD
A deep understanding of statistics and machine learning algorithms
Experience with data analysis and visualization using R or Matlab
1-3 years of experience in Healthcare
1-3 years of experience working in a startup environment
