Geotrace is currently seeking a qualified individual to serve as Chief Geophysicist, a key position with global responsibilities. The successful candidate will be expected to:? Manage the Imaging Group and perform research and engineering for seismic processing, signal
enhancement, velocity model building, and imaging in time and depth
? Oversee the technical integrity of the group and company activities
? Provide career mentorship and technical development of the staff
? Work closely with other Technology groups and business units
? Report to the Chief Technology Officer
This position requires the applicant to have the following qualifications:
? Minimum M.Sc. degree in geophysics or related field. Ph.D. preferred
? Minimum 10 years of experience in seismic processing and imaging
? Strong theoretical, algorithm implementation, and practical background
? Strong mentorship skills and the desire to provide career mentorship and training
