Chief Information Security Officer
Reporting to the CIO, the Chief Information Security Officer will oversee and direct security programs and security efforts across the company, including information technology, personnel data, communications, legal document Reporting to the CIO, the Chief Information Security Offer (CISO) will oversee and direct security programs and security efforts across the company, including information
technology, personnel data, communications, legal document retention, intellectual and physical property. The CISO will be responsible for ensuring protection of company systems, products, and data from outside intrusion or harm. The CISO will oversee the design and implementation of preventative security standards, policy, procedures, employee education and programs.
Responsibilities
Developing the overall Risk Management strategy and ensuring the execution of that
strategy; Understanding the current and future risks to company and adapt strategy as
necessary to respond to changing risks and threats
Advise the management team on risk issues that are relation to information security and recommend actions in support of Fireeye?s wider Risk Management programs
Develop and implement policies, process, standards, and guidelines related to Risk Management
Oversee the continuous monitoring and protection of information systems and ensure that compliance is maintained against security policies including developing key security metrics to demonstrate compliance
Directs the investigation of security breaches and disciplinary actions related to internet
and computer crimes, and fraud
Overseeing the internal use of Fireeye security products (including internal Beta testing) and
ensure communication with Engineering and Operations groups to identify product issues
and provide input for product improvement
Establish and monitor formal certification programs regarding enterprise security standards relating to the planned acquisition and/or procurement of new applications or technologies
Assist in the review of applications and/or technology environments during the development or acquisition process to insure compliance with corporate security policies and direction and assist in the integration process regarding Fireeye?s own technology environment
Team with Operations in the development and maintenance of organization information
privacy policies and procedures in coordination with management and legal counsel
Oversee the development of and be the champion of a corporate security awareness and training program
Support sales efforts by presenting company security strategy goals and results to
customers or conferences
Qualifications
10 or more years of experience working within the security industry
5 or more years of experience successfully working at the CSO or CISO level directing security programs
Excellent staff management skills; Ability to interface with senior management
Extensive technical knowledge of security technology, business system continuity planning, auditing, and risk management as it relates to information security
Superior analytical, evaluative and problem solving abilities
Ability to develop and clearly articulate a compelling technology vision that inspires the Fireeye team, community and industry
Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills including the ability to articulate to both technical and non-technical audiences
Exceptionally self-motivated and directed
BA, BS or Masters in a computer science or information systems related discipline; a Master in Business Administration a plus
