Chief Technology Officer Voxiva

Based in Washington DC, the Chief Technology Officer will define the technology direction for the Company and manage a team of approximately 70 people in both DC and Delhi, India to execute that technology vision and plan. Functions under the leadership of the CTO will include software architecture, design, engineering, IT and network operations. This is a senior role in the organization, reporting to the CEO and working closely with the executive team members from the Company?s various functional departments. This role will support Voxiva?s products, partner and client organizations in developing, highly scalable, multi-channel, multi stakeholder, technology products.
Defining a technology strategy that establishes Voxiva in the highest growth segments of the US Health 2.0 industry;
Identifying and implementing the latest in technology tools and methods for incorporation in our products and platform;
Communicating the Company?s technology strategy to clients, investors, staff, partners, and stakeholders;
Implementing the technology plan through the management of software architecture, design, engineering, IT and network operations;
Creating and managing dazzling, seamless, flawless and valuable end user experiences;
Maintaining and directing a comprehensive IT security plan, protecting the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the Company?s data and infrastructure;
Building and managing the technology budget and vendor relationships.
Skills and Qualifications:
Hands-on technology leadership in an entrepreneurial/ early stage health IT company;
Deep technology experience in health and/ or mobile applications and services;
An ability to define a Health 2.0 strategy and Voxiva?s technological position in the rapidly changing health care industry;
A degree (preferably Masters) in Computer Science or Software Engineering from a top university;
A team player and a team builder;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
Strong organizational skills aligning a team behind both a long term strategy and near term plans.
