CIGSS Photovoltaic (PV) Panel Test Engineer Stion
The successful candidate will have experience in the product development, manufacturing implementation, optimization and test of CIGSS-based (or similar) solar cells and modules. This position provides extensive hands on technical process support in a volume manufacturing environment. A blend of strong technical skills and an ability to lead projects and people are highly valued. This is a fast-paced start-up environment that is rapidly growing with customer demand.
Primary responsibilities and Essential Functions:
As an Engineer with primary responsible for CIGSS Circuit and Module Testing will specify, test, implement, and optimize manufacturing test processes and equipment including monitors and controls on the volume production line. Although, you will oversee forward bias and final test equipment and processes required to validating PV circuit and module performance, a broader understanding of the various metrology equipment used in the CIGSS solar panel manufacturing line is essential.
Ensure metrology and final test equipment is optimized for accuracy and operational availability to support volume production.
Optimize individual process and test steps to maximize tool and product performance and meet continually increasing performance metrics.
Establish suitable qualification processes, monitors, and statistical process controls to ensure process stability.
Create, update, and release documentation appropriate to define process recipes and methodologies for volume and experimental production.
Adhere to all safety procedures and good housekeeping standards

Qualification Requirements (Knowledge Skills, Abilities, Experience, Training, Education):
Bachelor?s degree in an Engineering discipline required (other four year technical degrees considered with suitable experience). Advanced degree preferred.
5+ years of experience in solar panel test and forward bias equipment, including solar simulators and related production line metrology. Breadth of experience in dark and bright field metrology, XRF, SEM, Ellipsometry, RGA a plus.
Strong analytical skills required. SPC implementation, training and deployment experience essential.
Working knowledge of statistical analysis software such asJMP or Mini-Tab desirable.
Six Sigma or SPC Training Certification desired
