Claims Analyst Beecher Carlson

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Assists in account management, data assimilation and analysis, renewal activities, and special projects working closely with Claims Consultants and other Beecher Carlson associates
Produces and assembles reports and other documents utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel, and carrier/TPA databases
Assists in creating PowerPoint presentations
Assists clients in reporting claims to carriers and follows to advocate our clients interests by facilitating timely claims resolution
Provides backup and administrative resource assistance to the claims team as necessary including participation in claim reviews

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
1-3 years of technical claims experience with an insurance carrier or TPA
Basic understanding of technical claims procedures and best practices
Ability to meet client and team needs in a timely and professional manner
Mature and professional demeanor
Displays a high attention to detail
Proficient in MS Office with strong Word and Excel skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to use discretion and understand confidentiality issues
