We are looking for a highly talented, motivated and energetic, Client Account Associate (CAA) to support enterprise level hosted and on-premise customers throughout the entire customer life cycle as well as to provide a business interface with e-mail advertisers. The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting our Email customers during their service and product evaluation, provide post sales periodic communication with our customers to ensure their satisfaction, and work closely with e-mail advertisers The CAA must display a rigorous work ethic and thrive in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide pre- and post- sales business, contracts, billing, and sales support to new and existing clients:
Serves as the primary point of contact for non-technical support inquiries for our broad range of hosted e-mail customers
Process upsells and assist with website transactions
Work closely with the finance team to proactively process account renewals, contract extensions, and billing issues on behalf of customers.
Assist with new accounts / evaluations
Update and validate the account data on Proofpoint?s business systems
Manage assigned customer accounts by periodic contact via phone and email
Resolve and direct operational issues and escalations with systems, partners, and vendors
Work within the customer relationship management process to ensure consistent communication with the customers
Ensures all of the customer?s issues are addressed and managed
Maintains a working knowledge of all products, processes and systems
Manages basic issues surrounding customer provisioning and satisfaction; Must have strong understanding of email enterprise technology solutions
Work closely with advertisers for and administrators of Proofpoint?s free e-mail offering
Maintain and/or increase advertising revenue in the mail service by working with advertising partners
Regularly monitor ad displays and check for family friendly content.
Monitor, verify, and report upon ad revenue; troubleshooting discrepancies.
Work closely with ad partners regarding any negative changes in revenue.
Collaborate with finance on a monthly basis to ensure proper invoicing and billing.
Maintain and develop new client relationships for the mail service
Evaluate and respond to new client requests
Assist with account set up
Analyze reporting to detect and deal with problematic accounts
Troubleshoot and resolve problems with all aspects of the free mail service
Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Experience with the Linux / UNIX / Solaris Operating System (transferable technical skills and/or an aptitude to ramp in this environment could be acceptable as well)
Previous technical experience with email preferred (preferably within a hosting environment)
Good knowledge of networks, security, and various hardware/software platforms with a proven ability to grasp new technical information quickly
Ability to bridge technology and business goals to provide productive solutions (i.e., this is a hybrid role with functional and technical requirements)
Strong interpersonal skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and sound judgment (i.e., requires making correct decisions based on company policies)
Highly skilled at managing customer expectations and able to handle multiple tasks and work well in an intense environment
Excellent problem solving skills and demonstrated customer service team interaction skills are required
Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently
