Client Account Manager Advanced ICU Care

The Account Manager will act as the key point of contact with assigned Advanced ICU Care client hospitals. The Account Manager is responsible for establishing and cultivating strategic relationships within assigned accounts, coordinating communications with the client. The Account Manager is also responsible for developing and implementing clinical initiatives to drive performance improvement as well as resolving issues that might arise with his or her assigned accounts in a thorough and timely manner.
Key Result Areas
Main Activities and Responsibilities
Client Relations (70%)
Principal point of contact between AICU Care and its client hospitals.
Responsible for cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with key hospital personnel, including ICU, medical and hospital leadership.
Account Managers work closely with assigned client hospitals to access performance and implement collaboratively-developed quality improvement initiatives to improve patient care and ICU utilization.
Responsible for ensuring ongoing client satisfaction through frequent communication and timely resolution of issues that might arise with assigned client hospitals
Coordinates various monthly, quarterly and annual reviews designed to communicate both quantitative and qualitative measures of program performance and its contribution to the client hospital.
Account Manager serves as the Clinical Lead during the implementation process and is responsible for development of workflows, formulary and other clinical elements of implementation as well as the coordination of site-level training of nurses and ICU staff.
Following implementation, the Account Manager assumes ongoing responsibility for management of the client hospital.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to implement and manage change and build consensus in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
Excellent communication skills?written and verbal?necessary to ensure clear, timely and accurate communication with all levels of AICU Care staff and client hospital.
Analytical, problem solving and organizational skills necessary to balance multiple projects concurrently
General Knowledge and Technical Skills:
Clinical knowledge and understanding of ICU operations consistent with that of a Critical Care Registered Nurse or experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist
Proficiency in the use of Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and other common business-related software
Strong writing, proofreading and communication skills
Required Education and Experience:
Five years of experience in healthcare industry with a minimum of 2 years of experience as an RN or RRT in an ICU setting
Minimum two years of experience in an Account Management, Client Relations or similar role
Bachelor?s degree required. Advanced degree or certification highly preferred
Able to travel as required to client locations?Travel time approximately 20%
