Our Implementation team configures the customer?s environment and provides consulting and expertise in software implementation and overall product knowledge, while delivering quality and value through services to our customers.Role and Responsibilities
Configure Vertafore software to meet the needs of our customers through XML configuration files and database driven rules.
Provide technical expertise including analysis, product and services implementation, training, and support of clients.
Create documentation on technical configurations, processes and procedures.
Identify and evaluate customer technical and business needs, provide technical alternatives, recommend solutions, and participate in implementation.
Work with customers, vendors, and internal groups to ensure adherence to pre-defined specifications, smooth deployment of Vertafore applications and completion of project deliverables.
Build and strengthen relationships with Vertafore customers by supporting their initiatives, requests and facilitating IT related problem/resolution.
Demonstrate personal initiative and leadership, ability to coach and mentor staff and ability to manage and execute multiple efforts effectively.
Assist in managing technical projects for client implementations.
Travel to client sites (10-15%).
Professional and Technical Competencies
Solid understanding and 4 years of real world experience using:
Relational Database Management Systems (Oracle, MySQL, MS SQL)
SQL language
Stored Procedures (PL/SQL, etc)
XML
Programming logic skills
Web services
Ability to train customer technical resources on the proper use of web services and XML.
Skilled at quickly learning customer processes, mapping those processes to requirements and capabilities then communicating them to the project team and stakeholders.
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), organization skills, problem solving/analytical skills.
Detail-oriented, quick-learner and deadline driven.
