Analyze and develop solutions to provide and interpret information needed to assist management personnel with decision-making, policy formulation, and other managerial functions using computer software, web, and database development tools and scripting languages.
Develop related software application features.
Formulate and recommend application optimization methods. Collect and analyze customer data and requirements to develop computer-based decision-support tools. Interface with end-users' decision-makers to define data requirements, gather information, and clarify objectives. Analyze information obtained to conceptualize and define operational issues. Analyze multiple alternative courses of action in solution development to determine the most effective strategies. Perform validation and testing to ensure adequacy and effectiveness. Collaborate with Application Developers to ensure successful implementation of chosen solutions.
In connection with such duties, utilize
Perl/CGI,
PHP,
MySQL,
HTML/CSS,
XML,
JavaScript,
Bash Shell Scripting,
CVS,
and knowledge of UNIX
