Client Finance Specialist (Contract) Axiom Law
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED Axiom, a revolution in the legal industry and one of the nation?s fastest growing private companies, is seeking a Client Finance Specialist for a contract assignment in our San Francisco office.
The Client Finance Specialist plays an integral role in providing finance support during the lifecycle of our client projects (engagements) which includes serving as the point-of-contact for all financial-related inquiries and assistance needed. Responsibilities include:
Establishing Statements of Work (SOW) in the project accounting system and reviewing the key financial data, including unusual revenue or billing arrangements and payment terms
Preparing the invoice tracker for the US and reviewing e-billing status to support the Accounts Receivable calls
Posting daily cash receipts
Processing roll-on and roll-off of attorneys from engagements
Updating bill rate and pay rate changes into the project accounting system
Managing the invoicing process for a portfolio of clients, including correction of invoices, processing of credit memos, and submission of invoices to the client.
Making collection calls and email correspondence on all overdue balances for Axiom?s clients
Processing customer refunds; investigate and resolve client disputes; account reconciliation

Candidates with a background in Accounts Receivable and/or Billing preferred.
Experience and Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, or business
Account Receivable or Billing experience highly preferred
Experience in supporting client-facing team members and willingness to help identify and solve issues. Excellent interpersonal skills and strong verbal and written skills. Ability to work in dynamic, fast paced, fast growing company where adaptability is imperative
Strong executive presence with ability to communicate at multiple levels of an organization
Strong MS Excel skills
Strong organization skills, maintenance of detailed records, attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple tasks and responsibilities
Ability to maintain professionalism with difficult conversations and experience in seeking out balanced solutions
