The Client Operations Coordinator, located in our Hopkins, MN office, is responsible for supporting the client-facing team for the region in evaluating project bids, assessing feasibility, and ultimately preparing proposals on a wide variety of GMI projects. Also responsible for participating in the design of sample plans for all related studies. Other tasks may include price negotiation and joining client-facing team members on conference calls with prospective and current clients. This position is an entry-level position with room for growth & represents an excellent opportunity to learn GMI?s solutions while developing skills required for opportunities in sales, client operations or client services.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assess client needs and identify the appropriate GMI solutions
Coordinate proposal creation and feasibility assessment for client bids
Process initial RFP (Request For Proposal) and review bid for accuracy
Present proposal to client and serve as initial point of contact for any questions or client feedback.
Design sample plan for related studies
Answer initial questions on products/services
Liaise with other internal GMI departments to bid and execute client proposal requests
Support existing account relationships and account plan execution to insure they remain healthy, productive and mutually beneficial, with a goal of securing repeat business and achieving targeted revenues with key clients
Conduct basic and in-depth feasibility assessment & prepare support materials for the client-facing team:
Handle and categorize in-bound bid requests
Assess project feasibility by working with various software tools
Work with a brokerage team to purchase sample from panel partners if necessary
Become an expert in GMI?s online panels and help support Sales/ Client-facing teams
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
BA/BS Degree in Business preferred
1-3+ years related experience in sales, business or marketing
Competitive nature with strong work ethic and drive to achieve sales goals
Ability to develop and maintain productive business relationships
Passion for satisfying clients and fulfilling commitments
High-energy with ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic and unstructured environment
Strong analytical and mathematical capabilities; background in statistics
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to present to groups
Ability to manage multiple clients and projects under tight deadlines essential
Microsoft Office and Windows expertise
