Who We Want:
The ideal Client Partner has successfully led an account management team?s marketing initiatives for Fortune 100 companies, delivering sales growth and measurable client ROI. This candidate meets most or all of the following requirements:
10+ years of consulting and/or strategic account management experience
3+ years of people-management experience, with demonstrated coaching and mentoring skills
Proven CxO level relationship building capabilities
Proven ability to foster team collaboration across client and internal functional departments
Demonstrated experience with social technologies, eCommerce, online industry trends, Web 2.0 technologies or online marketing concepts
Strong analytical background and knowledge of web analytics
Strong attention to detail, highly organized, and focused on quality execution
Ability to travel 50% and desire to collaborate onsite with our clients
Four year undergraduate degree from an accredited university
Skills and Experience Necessary for the Role:
Team Leadership
Lead a team of Client Success Directors to:
Understand client business objectives
Develop and execute client-specific marketing strategies, associated tactics and measurement plans
Deliver quantifiable ROI
Retain and grow our account base
Foster an environment with high customer intimacy and strong team collaboration ? and have fun along the way
Recruit, on-board, evaluate and develop the talent on the team
Clients
Develop and maintain CxO level relationships
Drive adoption of new Bazaarvoice products and features
Ensure client reference-ability; effectively address client satisfaction and any issues until resolved
Secure press and case study opportunities
Mitigate competitive risk by maintaining a high degree of situational awareness for all clients in their team?s portfolio
Thought Leadership
Continually improve marketing strategies and best practices to promote and leverage user-generated content
Maintain current knowledge of the social commerce industry, products and partners; be viewed as a social commerce expert
P&L Impact
Forecast and report client portfolio growth and adjustments
Identify and assist with client up-sell opportunities; participate in pre-sales opportunities as a SME
Secure client renewals and manage negotiations through to contract signature
The Client Partner is a challenging role that requires exceptional client relationship, team building, motivational, analytical, and technology skills. We are looking for candidates who are truly passionate about leading their team to service our clients on a daily basis and who have rich, descriptive accounts of their own client-facing and management experiences to tell us about. Please carefully evaluate the strength of your CxO level client-facing skills and team management skills with this in mind; we expect our Client Partners to be proven leaders.
