To keep us ahead of the game we need an Account Director.
As an Account Director, you will be responsible for formulating sales strategies and executing sales activities in order to attain your quota in the business-to-business marketplace. We are looking for an Account Director who is a team player with exceptional organizational, verbal and written skills; a demonstrated ability to multi-task; and strong prospecting and negotiona/closing skills (A true hunter!).
What we will expect you to do:
Be responsible for creating and driving closure to new business opportunities.
Cold call and gain appointments with prospects
Build a pipeline with qualified leads
Present the Dimension Data propsition, provide product information, coordinate demos, generate proposals and service orders
Establish and develop internal relationships with Engineering, Operations, Sales and administrative staff
Continue to work with existing accounts to expand sales
Achieve sales and revenue objective

In essence, we need you drive and close new business while maintaining relationships with key contacts.
Qualifications
Here's what we are looking for in candidates for this job:
Key requirements:
5 years outside sales experience with consistent performance against quota
3 years outside sales experience in managed hosting, Cloud, or datacenter industries
Proven closer of complex software, infrastructure, and managed services deals. Background & experience with solution/SPIN selling a plus.
Understanding of application, database, system, network, security, eCommerce, and other eBusiness technologies
Recent experience utilizing SalesForce
Demonstrated personal commitment and interest in continual professional development
Key abilities required:
Be able to present a professional and credible face to the customer and prospect
Self-directed, self motivated and results oriented ? possess the drive and determination to succeed. Willing to work hard, knows how to work smart
Quick on your feet ? can address the challenges presented during a sales conversation
Continually self-educate to maintain a broad knowledge of complex products, service and sales skills
Non-negotiable for us:
Solid track record of calling on business decision makers in a highly competitive market
Proven ability to build relationships throughout the customer organization
Bachelors degree or combination of education and related experience that would demonstrate possession of the knowledge and abilities needed to achieve success in this position
