7 years of experience in the investment industry.
Experience should involve working with portfolio management, accounting, performance, trading or optimization systems.
Must be familiar with business work flow in the investment management industry as it pertains to asset allocation, compliance, performance reporting, and trading.
Knowledge of portfolio optimization and optimization products is strongly desired.
Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Certificates/Licenses: None Required, CGIPS or CFA candidate desired.
Communicates InvestEdge product and services to the client. This includes answering questions about the product, explaining how the product is used to provide solutions to business needs, and communicate new functionality. It may also include conducting training classes for end-users. Identify synergies between client?s business needs and InvestEdge services.
Responsible for providing written business requirements for all customizations or core enhancements requested by the client. Review final work order to confirm it is meeting the business needs, and work with the client to obtain sign-off.
Responsible for monitoring the billable hours against the estimate approved by the client, and providing information required to bill the client.
Serve as the project manager for the implementation of the InvestEdge product. This includes new clients as well as customizations and core releases (usually done annually). As project manager, create implementation proposals, project plans, and timelines. Communicate status and issues to client and to other team members. Establish appropriate due dates for all deliverables, track the project relative to these deliverables and dates, and document/communicate updates if there are changes.
Investigate, analyze, understand, and resolve a client?s issues. Work with the support staff to research and resolve complex issues. Communicate the statuses of unresolved issues to the client. Communicate the cause and resolution of issues.
Provide guidance and leadership to support staff.
Act as the liaison for development staff and the client. This includes issues, customizations and implementations. Establish a recurring meeting (such as weekly) to communicate statuses to the client.
Create clear and concise documentation for support processes and client-specific training material.
Articulate the benefits of InvestEdge products and services to potential clients.
Identify and document system enhancements for future releases.
