The Client Service Business Analyst reviews and interprets data from a variety HealthHelp sources using a variety of tools and techniques from conceptualization through presentation of the data. It involves the development and preparation of information deliverables for internal and external customers. It requires proficiency with analytical tools, knowledge of data analysis methodologies and strong communication skills. While assessing the requirements of the organization with respect to its operations and functions this role is responsible for business case definitions, in-depth analysis as well as translation and simplification according to the business needs. You are expected to consume and analyze operational data from our various RadConsult programs and prepare reports; which may be in the form of visualizations such as graphs, charts and dashboards, detailing the significant results you have deduced.
Design and maintain databases of health care claims and informatics data
Develop and implement data analysis algorithms
Develop and use mathematical models to track changes in claims phenomena as it relates to HealthHelp?s core business needs
Analyze archival data from a health care perspective relating to claims trends
Analyze clinical data using statistical approaches such as longitudinal analysis, mixed effect modeling, logistic regression analyses and model building techniques.
Gather and interpret relevant data and information-claims, utilization trends, medical expenses, etc.
Prepare statistical data for inclusion in reports to data analysts, managers, and clients
Use statistical models to analyze data and calculate the probability of savings associated with certain programs
Write detailed analysis plans and descriptions of analyses and findings for research protocols and reports
Prepare detailed user guides, and functional specification documents
Prepare tables and graphs to present clinical data or results
Model the impact of potential changes-?what would happen if??
Determine project plans, timelines and technical objectives for special projects
Respond to client data inquiries and concerns; addressing issues promptly
Essential Skills, Specifications and Education Requirements
2-5 years experience in data related activities.
Experience in data analysis, decision support, business analysis, requirements documenting.
Demonstrated experience in analysis and presentation of data required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers and subject matter experts.
Willingness to assume additional or new responsibilities readily.
Demonstrated experience working with team collaboration tools
Must be able to excel in a fast paced environment with multiple priorities
Advanced skills in MS Excel.
Solid mathematical aptitude.
Ability to analyze and document complex business processes.
Ability to think analytically and should be a problem solver.
Ability to gather and interpret relevant data and information.
Approximately 40% travel is required; however business needs will dictate
