Client Services Engineer Liaison Technologies
The Client Services Engineer plays an important role on the Client Services team. The requirements of this role include working as a team with the Account Manager to deliver successful customer implementations, partner on-ramping, and change management. The Client Engineer will utilize internal tools, technologies and processes to produce quality results in a timely fashion to meet and exceed project goals and client expectations. Tasks typically include various aspects of internet-based integration efforts between Liaison, our clients systems, and our client?s trading partner?s systems. The Client Services Engineer will be committed to maintaining the highest degree of client satisfaction with every Liaison customer and trading partner.
Configuration of connections per customer and trading partner requirements
On-ramping trading partners utilizing integration technologies such as FTP and HTTP
Execution of change requests submitted by customers and/or trading partners
Creation of document transformation maps and execution configurations using XSLT
Management of work tasks resulting in timely delivery and client satisfaction
Regular and timely communication of status to group management, customers, trading partners, and other members of the Hubspan team
Work with the Support Team to analyze and resolve customer incidents.
Provide appropriate task documentation, following all Liaison standard processes and procedures.
Recognize reusable procedures, templates, documents, models, etc. for broader ?best practice? use.
Business requirement gathering
Writing functional specifications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong technical aptitude and desire to develop technical skills
Technical Skills ? basic understanding of and/or willingness to learn one or more of the following:
XML/XSLT and schema languages
EDI X12, EDIFACT, AS2, RosettaNet, or other standard protocol experience a plus
SQL queries and relational database development Oracle a plus
Java and or C# experience a plus
Proven experience resulting in on-time and on-budget task delivery.
Proven success in setting goals, managing expectations, and exceeding customer satisfaction metrics.
Proven experience in thriving in a collaborative team environment.
