Client Services Lead Engineer Bunchball

The Client Services Lead Engineer is the main technical point of contact for Bunchball customers, and is the liaison between our Engineering and Client Services Teams. You will leverage your web engineering background, translating UX design into tactical implementation plans for specific customers. During client set up you will project manage the configuration and execution of these plans, coordinating across multiple internal and external groups identifying and address any technical issues impacting customers both proactively and reactively and seeing those issues through to resolution. Driving improvements to process inefficiencies is a strength that you bring to the role. Your input will directly influence the direction of our products that have revolutionized our space and that our customers love. Partner closely with other Client Services Team members to drive customer satisfaction and additional business, while identifying key customer needs and working internally to provide solutions
Work with our product team and engineers to grow a deep understanding of our platform and product capabilities
Proactive problem solving and issue resolution, with prioritization synchronized to meet company and customer business objectives
Provide clear, concise translations of customer needs and feedback to internal groups
Able to motivate, mentor and coordinate disparate internal groups and team resources toward a common goal - Bunchball and customer
Strong technical project management and time management skills- PMP a plus
Prompt follow-up with the anticipation of customer issues and reliability is key
An adaptable, professional work style that can evolve as the company and customer needs evolve
Able to be creative about using the tools at your disposal to provide excellent customer service and solutions
Strong business mind, wanting to help grow our business by identifying solutions for daily business challenges
What you bring to the role:
BA or BS required with education in a technical discipline strongly preferred
A minimum of 2+ years experience leading a Client facing team in the online space with one or more of the following: technology consulting, enterprise software implementation, or technology service and support
Strong customer facing communication skills developed in early stage product environments
Experience working in a matrix or startup environment where you were both strategic and hands-on
Significant experience providing detailed updates to customers while engendering respect and building rapport
You possess high technical and logical intelligence to quickly absorb comprehensive details of our unique software platform and understand how the platform architecture drives customer-relevant solutions standards, Flash and ActionScript, JavaScript, HTML and CSS; Server-side languages -Java, PHP, Perl, Ruby, Python, ASP and the use of third party Web APIs
Strong analytical skills and the ability to think outside of the box
An ability to interact and communicate effectively with others at all levels of the organization with diplomacy and tact
Excellent decision making skills with a knack for identifying, prioritizing, and articulating the highest impact initiatives
Able to meet deliverables and drive your work to completion within specified timelines
Great communication skills both written and verbal
Able to present ideas and solutions to many audiences including senior management
Can work cross functionally in many areas without being constrained by your job function
Collaborative, upbeat work ethic where you can take ownership and have fun
