The Client Services Manager will work closely with the VP of Business Operations to provide maximum benefit to client, department and company alike. This individual will be forward thinking, process oriented, proven project manager, strategic and seek continuous improvement. The manager will participate in a team environment by providing oversight, management, and direction of services provided for the company. Responsibilities include: communicating test changes, lab chemistry issues, canceled tests, etc. to the department in an educational environment, participate in timely staff meetings, assist supervisors in monitoring performance metrics and lead supervisors in coaching, address personnel issues in concert with supervisors, VP, and HR and will perform other duties as requested.
Experience and Skills:
Ability to deal with diverse personalities and difficult situations; good oral and written communication skills both in person and over the phone are essential; must have a friendly, professional attitude and be customer focused. Maintain team chemistry and promote participation through leadership in staff meetings, special projects, distribution of department assignments, etc.
Able to sit at a desk and use a computer for long periods of time (most of work day). Occasionally able to lift/carry a minimum of 20 pounds; some standing and walking is required.
A high level of computer capabilities is required. Candidate must be Windows competent and be proficient with M/S Office software, especially Excel and PowerPoint; Advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency is required. Experience in navigating CRM, LIS or similar databases is required.
Bachelors degree is required.
Must have minimum of 5 years management/supervisory experience; Must be experienced/knowledgeable of lab testing; understanding of customer service phone systems routing and reporting functions is a plus.
Must work well in a team environment, understand and maintain a high level of security and confidentiality, be highly organized with good decision making skills, be a diplomatic problem solver and maintain a sense of urgency in meeting deadlines. Civic or volunteer involvement is a plus.
