Client Services Managers are responsible for providing support and application training to the production clients, and managing daily data operations. They develop a great understanding of the client?s business with respect to Firm58 portal and help them get the most value from it. They communicate with clients on pro-active and re-active basis and deal with various questions and issues that range from simple ?How to? questions to complex investigations of vendor data, applied logic, and results. Client Services Managers work closely with the IT, Development, Deployment, and Sales teams to maximize client satisfaction and business impact. Answer client calls and emails in the timely manner and log all issues in the issue tracking system.
Reproduce problems reported by clients and work with QA, Development, and IT to resolve them.
Manage daily data operations to ensure that all client data is properly loaded.
Work with the night team to receive open issues in the morning, and hand open issues over to them at the end of the day.
Understand exchange fees and their structure. Work with the exchanges and monitor their web sites and notifications to maintain their schedules of rates in the centralized location as well as individual client environments when required.
Work with QA to help test application changes and improvements.
Develop client documentation and deliver training to clients that transition from Deployment to Production
Document requirements for occasional custom reports, and occasional deployment and integration changes including their implementation.
Participate in product development.
At least 5 years of experience in the capital markets space (broker dealer/institutional/proprietary trading).
Financial industry domain knowledge.
Understanding of US Equities and Options Exchange fees and their structures.
3 to 5 years experience in providing software support to clients.
Bachelor?s degree or higher education credentials are required.
Must be able to work in a technical environment with an understanding of databases and the ability to write SQL queries.
Must be a clear thinker and problem solver with ability to conceptualize multi-dimensional problems.
Must have strong analytical skills.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
