The Client Services team at BlogHer manages all post-sale activity for large-scale custom online marketing programs. We have openings at various levels of experience: Director (in NY), Manager and Coordinator (in CA). These are onsite positions.
In the position of Director/Manager, Client Services you will be the central point of communication during all post-sale activity including implementation and final execution of custom online advertising programs. You will work cross-functionally within BlogHer to coordinate all launch details including some copyediting/writing, creative/design liaison, promotional page development, campaign monitoring, optimization and reporting and externally as the day-to-day contact with clients. Some proposal development may also be involved.
The ideal candidate is motivated, intelligent, highly organized, detail oriented and creative with 5+ years work experience including media, advertising agency, account management, internet marketing, or related experience. Online experience is essential. S/he enjoys creating and working in a fast-paced environment, functioning independently, as well as with teams. The successful candidate will be a quick learner with a demand for excellence and growth. He/she must be willing to work hard by innovating and bringing clients to the next level of customer engagement in a user-generated content setting. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Docs. Also useful: Photoshop; knowledge of Facebook and Twitter for marketing; Basecamp; comfortable with ad serving technologies.
The Client Services Coordinator assists the client services department in all aspects of campaign management. QA launched campaigns, follow-up with campaign participants, document all elements of campaign, compile metrics for campaign reports; create ppt presentations. Manage multiple sweepstakes; communicate with winners; prize fulfillment. Strong knowledge of Power Point, word and excel. Adept at internet search. Knowledge of Photo Shop helpful. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Our ideal candidate has at least 1-2 years of office/business experience; works well with people and is interested in a career in media/sales/advertising. Digital experience a plus.
