Opportunity and Growth
We are seeking TALENTED Developers to join our technology team. In this position, you will participate in the design and development of applications to support Booker technology initiatives. This position is especially attractive for developers looking to expand their hosted application skill-set and gain additional experience with web-based technologies.
The successful applicant must have excellent communication skills including the ability to work well both independently and in a team environment. We are looking for self-starters who thrive on challenge and have the ability to successfully multi-task. In addition to technical and creative savvy, candidates must be motivated, energetic, success-driven individuals. The environment is fast-paced and dynamic, and appropriate candidates must possess the same attributes.
What You Should Bring To the Table
Experience programming object oriented Javascript.
Experience with multiple development platforms.
Experience designing and coding with CSS and HTML.
Interest in developing MVC or similar patterns on the client side.
Bonus Points
Enthusiasm for solving interesting problems. MUST be passionate about working with cutting-edge technology.
Experience developing against APIs using REST concepts.
Experience with Backbone.js, Ember.js, or similar client side libraries
Experience with multiple client side DOM/event libraries (jQuery, Dojo, etc).
Experience with Node.js
Experience with JSONP.
Experience with distributed version control.
BS or BA or equivalent work experience (we focus on your skills more than anything else!)
Team development experience.
