Client Solutions Senior Financial Analyst Reval

About the Position:
Reval is looking for a candidate who can provide subject matter expertise and support to our all our clients for high level, highly complex cases covering various areas of the Reval application, including, but not limited to, derivative products and valuations, treasury risk management, hedge accounting (FAS133/IAS39/FAS157) and other standard accounting practices. In addition, this role would also help support Reval Center North American clients. This would involve assisting on client implementations, client processing, reporting and analysis. This will involve analyzing standard trade confirms, book hedged and hedging items into Reval, define hedge designations/relationships and run effectiveness, risk and valuation reports. There will also be coordination with the Graz Team for Reval Center on client processing and global tasks and special projects.
Subject Matter Expertise
Will have a solid background and understanding of derivatives, risk management, and accounting.
Having knowledge of the Reval product a plus.
Able to identify and validate system issues reported by clients across all areas of the application
Skilled at asking key questions that get to the root of complex issues reported by clients and providing clear and concise resolutions in a timely manner that meet client expectations.
Understand the clients usage of the Reval application, and identify alternative work-around solutions to system issues
Communicate clear and concise explanations to client issues in writing and/or verbally. Excellent communication skills a must.
Offer and provide webex training sessions/conference calls to ensure that resolutions are clearly communicated and understood by the client before closing the client?s case
Provide on-site client trainings on an as needed basis which will include working closely with the Relationship Manager gathering the training requirements, creating the training agenda and delivering the training as per the agenda defined.
Be able to meet tight deadlines in a quick and efficient manner.
Build trust by communicating effectively with clients the status of cases, change requests and reported system issues, developing and presenting convincing recommendations that address key client objectives, setting appropriate expectations with client and managing them throughout the case life cycle
Consistently present and conduct a professional demeanor and approach in all client related communications
Bachelor?s degree in business finance or accounting required.
Approximately 5+ years experience with financial products in a support, development, or consulting environment
Minimum of 3 years combined experience with hedge accounting or derivative accounting with FAS 133, FAS 157, IAS 39, IFRS 7 , and others
Previous customer management experience a plus
The desire to work in an intense and fast paced environment with a talented team
Strong customer support skills with demonstrated ability effectively dealing with escalated customer concerns.
Spanish Language skills are a plus
Technology Skills Requirements: (If necessary)
Technically proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Salesforce experience a plus.
