BidPal?s Client Success Supervisor is responsible for managing a team of Event Consultants, including regular check-ins, assisting with questions, overseeing advancement of technical and customer service skills, and encouraging career development. BidPal?s Client Success Supervisors are based at our Indianapolis headquarters but manage staff around the country.
The essential job functions for this role include:
Lead a team of full-time and part-time BidPal Consultants including:
Provide ongoing training and coaching of team members to improve technical/product skills and knowledge.
Help team members grow customer service and event management skills.
Hold weekly or bi-weekly 1-on-1s with team members and oversee weekly team meetings.
Help team members to quickly and effectively address Customer Service concerns.
Regularly review team members? event preparation work for accuracy and areas of improvement.
Provide performance reviews for each team member.
Listen in on team member calls to help build skills and address issues.
Positively handle customer service escalations.
As a member of the Senior Consulting Team, assist in training staff and customers on our expanding product options.
Assist in interviewing and recommending new hires as the company continues to grow.
Engage new employees in training activities and skill building exercises.
Assist Team Members in defining, setting and achieving career path goals.
Perform BidPal consultations with assigned clients, on a half-time basis.
Coordinate client event timelines and drive clients towards BidPal best practices for successful auctions.
Provide customer and technical support to clients.
Liaise between internal BidPal departments on event logistics.
Review client data and provide consultative feedback on industry best practices.
Accurately maintain key client data in CRM application, Salesforce.com.
Travel to new Metropolitan Service Areas to manage events onsite.
Assist in building customer support tools, including presenting webinars, writing FAQs and Blogs, and updating BidPal?s online support portal (myBidPal Buddy).
1-3 years of Management experience.
1 year of Event Consulting/Planning experience preferred or 3 years work experience in Sales, Marketing or Events.
Positive customer service orientation
Exceptional leadership skills.
Ability to manage time well.
Strong customer relationship management skills.
Exceptional communication skills ? including: written, interpersonal, and public speaking.
Highly organized with the ability to meet multiple concurrent deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
High level of initiative.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Computer skills mandatory in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
