About The Role
The Client Support Engineer is a multi-faceted role that will also be a driving force behind developing new processes and initiatives to improve Sailthru?s services. The primary objective is to provide top-tier B2B client support, which requires effective communication, including with Sailthru's Account Management, Implementation, and Deliverability teams. Specifically the Client Support Engineer ?s key responsibilities will be to:
Provide excellent customer service via phone, in-person and heavy use of email correspondence
Communicate clearly and concisely in response to client questions about Sailthru products and interface
Execute sound judgment in prioritizing status and escalating issues to the Client Support Team Leader
Maintain (i.e. write and edit) high integrity and quality support documentation
Contribute to the development of best practices, policies, procedures and user training
About You:
The ideal candidate for the Client Support Engineer role will have excellent communication skills, understand the core principals of client service and have the ability to apply them on a daily basis. Furthermore, s/he will have skills in web technologies (or at minimum a fearless attitude and drive to gain web technology competence)- namely HTML, JavaScript and/or Flash. In addition, this person will have relevant experience in the digital space and/or email with a passion for leveraging technology to create successful customer experiences. Specifically s/he must have:
Bachelor's degree (required)
Knowledge of HTML (JavaScript and CSS a plus) and ideally how to use an API with client libraries
1-3+ years of experience in client support, ideally a B2B environment (this is not an internal IT help desk position)
Strong written and verbal communication (with colleagues and clients)
Positive attitude, high energy and an eagerness to learn
Excellent organizational and prioritizing skills with attention to detail
A proactive and self-starter approach needing little supervision to complete tasks
Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines
Desire to work in a fast-paced, high-growth, fun and technology company
